1. Who We Are

WeevYou is a review collection platform operated from Austin, Texas. We help local service businesses collect customer feedback and Google reviews. Questions? hello@weevyou.com

2. Information We Collect

From business accounts:

• Name, email address, and password (hashed)
• Business name and Google Business review URL
• Billing information (processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers)

From end customers (added by businesses):

• Name, email address, and/or phone number
• Star rating and any written feedback they submit
• Email open and click events (via tracking pixel)

3. How We Use Your Information

• To send review request emails on behalf of the business
• To display feedback and analytics in the business dashboard
• To process billing and manage your subscription
• To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
• To improve the Service

We do not sell your data. We do not use customer data for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

• Resend — email delivery
• Neon — database hosting (PostgreSQL)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

Each provider has their own privacy policy and data processing terms.

5. Customer Opt-Out

Every review request email includes an unsubscribe link. Customers who unsubscribe will never receive another message through WeevYou from that business. Opt-out requests are processed immediately.

6. Data Retention

Business account data is retained as long as your account is active. Customer data submitted by businesses is retained until the business account is deleted. Upon account deletion, all associated data is removed within 30 days.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We follow reasonable security practices but cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@weevyou.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies

We use a session cookie for authentication only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify account holders of material changes by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
